About Jimmy

Proudly Serving Anderson County
Born and raised in Anderson County, Jimmy Davis's family roots in the Piedmont area go back over 150 years. Jimmy is a Wren High School and Clemson University graduate. He is a lifelong member of Shiloh Methodist Church where he serves in several ministries. He is a small businessman, a conservative, and a proud member of the NRA.
Jimmy is married to Alicia Davis and they have two children, Sydney and Gavin Bryan. A lifelong resident of the Wren Community, Jimmy is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting, and shooting. He is active in Piedmont and Powdersville community groups and serves on the Anderson County Planning and Public Works Committee, where he also chairs the Personnel Committee.
First elected in 2018, Jimmy has served Anderson County Council District 6 with a focus on managing growth, protecting taxpayers, and investing in parks and public safety.

Secured $500K federal grant for ADA kayak launch, trails, and Saluda River Blue Trail anchor
Economic Development
Worked with multinational businesses to bring economic development to northern Anderson County, bringing hundreds of millions of dollars in investments and over 300 jobs to the Piedmont and Powdersville area
Hurricane Springs Park
8 free pickleball courts + $450K state grant for improvements
Growth Moratorium
Led push for six-month moratorium on large-scale residential development
